ONEONTA, NY - The Hartwick men's cross country team was in action today at the 18th Annual Oneonta Airfield Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta at Fortin Park. The men's team placed third.
Senior Captain Caleb Malery
(Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) finished first for the Hawks and twenty-fourth overall on the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:33.3. Senior Captain
Mark Garceau (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) finished next in twenty-eighth place with a time of 23:16.3. Freshman
Aidan Freda (Westtown, NY/Minisink Valley) was the third Hawk to cross the finish line in twenty-ninth place in a time of 23:23.3.       Â

Pablo Gutierrez (Cliffside, NJ/Cliffside) finished in thirty-second place in a time of 24:55.4. Senior
Omar Nelson (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) rounded out the Hawks scoring in thirty-third place with a time of 26:05.3.
The Hawks will next be in action on Saturday, October 2 at the Homecoming Invitational hosted by Cazenovia College at Fenner Fields in Cazenovia, NY at 11 a.m..
