ONEONTA, NY – The Men's Basketball team was on the road at Utica College last night but was unable to bring home the teams first win after a 53-74 defeat. Utica improves to 8-2 (2-0) while Hartwick falls to 0-11 (0-3).
Hartwick outscored their opponents in the second half on 15-39 shooting from the field. Defensively, Hartwick forced 15 turnovers while only turning the ball over 12 times themselves. Nine players scored in the contest for Wick, led by
Kevin Felasco with 12 points.
Josh Fenner came off the bench to chip in a season high 10 points.
Trevor Brink grabbed a team, and season high, 9 rebounds in the game.
The men are back in action this weekend on the road at Houghton and Alfred. The Empire 8 conference contests begin at 7:30pm and 4:00pm, respectively.
