Hawks Fall in Three at St. John Fisher

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The Hawks fell in Empire 8 play on Saturday afternoon dropping their match in three sets to the Cardinals of St. John Fisher.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
 
  • Hartwick could not find the same magic that they did last night despite pushing the Cardinals to a 24-26 final in the second set.
  • The Hawks struggled to get their offense going, topping the double-digit team kill mark in only the second set.
  • Kaileigh Brandow (Manorville, N.Y.) picked up seven kills on the afternoon.
  • Colette Maloney (Williston Park, N.Y.) put away six kills to go along with eight digs.
  • Sarah Petz (Webster, N.Y.) also ended the afternoon with eight digs.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
 
The Hawks will look to rebound on Wednesday, October 5 in another Empire 8 match against the visiting Russell Sage Gators.  The 6 PM match is also the team's
"Code Blue" game.
