ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks rebounded from their last Empire 8 loss on Saturday with a 3-0 sweep of the visiting Russell Sage College Gators on Wednesday night 3-0.

- Hartwick picked up a fast 3-0 win on Wednesday night in Empire 8 mid-week action.
- The visiting Gators pushed the Hawks point-for-point across the first two sets.
- However, Hartwick turned around to dominate the third set, putting away 20 kills of their overall game total of 47.
- Kaileigh Brandow (Manorville, N.Y.) and Colette Maloney (Williston Park, N.Y.) led the offensive attack with 13 and 11 kills respectively.
- Maloney pulled off the kills and digs double-double leading the team with 15 digs.
- Braelyn Hornick (Candor, N.Y.) picked up 12 digs to go along with her 35 assists.
- Defensively the Hawks put away 15 total blocks. Shelby Swartz (Candor, N.Y.) contributed on four blocks, while Brandow, Hornick, and Staecia Silofau (Kapolei, Hawaii) added three.
