ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Women's Swimming and Diving team defeated both SUNY Delhi and Utica University, but fell to the College of St. Rose on Saturday afternoon at their home quad meet.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Bree Dy (Matawan, N.J.) picked up the first individual race win for the Hawks in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.05.
- Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) picked up a win in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:12.77.
- The Hawks added to their point total in the 200-yard backstroke event as Dy and Avery Sommo (Slingerlands, N.Y.) took 2nd and 3rd respectively.
- Pierce followed up her earlier win, with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- A 1-2 finish in the 500-yard free by Joelle Ocheltree (Libertyville, Ill.) and Ellie Baird (Wilton, N.Y.) also gave Hartwick important points.
- The home team wrapped up their competition with a 2nd and 3rd place finish in the 400-yard free relay.

The Hawks will have a weekend off before traveling to Nazareth on Saturday, November 5 for a 1 PM dual meet.
