ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks made their Trinity O'Connor Foundation benefit game one to remember, defeating the visiting Russell Sage College Gators, 9-0.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Leah Tolley (Pittsford, N.Y.) put the Hawks on the board at the 2:23 mark in the first quarter with a drive through traffic from just inside the circle.
- Lex Matarazzo (Commack, N.Y.) notched her seventh goal of the season in the 5th minute of play with a tip off of a cross from Julie Ruzzi (High Falls, N.Y.).
- Hartwick capped off the first quarter with their third goal of the game with a give and go play off of a corner attempt. Sydney Gagnon (Chestertown, N.Y.) picked up the goal, while Ruzzi collected her second assist in a row.
- Up 3-0 entering the 2nd quarter, Ashley Tricarico (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) picked up two tallies in a row. The first was in the 16th minute of play off of a pass from Tolley in front of the Gators' keeper. The second was an unassisted goal as sophomore midfielder dribbled into the circle and found an opening for a shot.
- Hartwick would score twice more before the half. Holly Calore (Rocky Point, N.Y.) picked up her fifth goal of the season with five minutes to go in the half. Just over a minute later, Jessica Betts (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) put away the deflection off of the post from Gagnon's original shot.
- The Hawks rounded out their scoring for the game in the 3rd quarter.
- Faith Weaver (Clay, N.Y.) notched her first goal of the season in the 41st minute, while Kayla Raucci (Katonah, N.Y.) picked up her first collegiate goal in the 44th minute.
- The Hartwick goalkeepers combined for the shut out victory.
