ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Women's Swimming and Diving team dropped their non-conference dual meet against town rival, Oneonta State 187-81.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) picked up point for the Hawks by finishing first in the 100-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard breaststroke, and the 200-yard individual medley. Pierce also swam the anchor leg of the 200-yard freestyle relay, which finished second.
- Ellie Baird (Wilton, N.Y.) picked up a win for Hartwick in the 100-yard freestyle. The sophomore also picked up points for the Hawks by finishing second in the 500-yard freestyle and second in the 200-yard freestyle. Baird also swam the second leg of the 2nd place finishing 200-yard freestyle relay.
- Meghan Geczy (Queensbury, N.Y.) finished second in the 50-yard freestyle event, coming in .4 seconds behind her Oneonta opponent.

Hartwick will travel to the University of Scranton next Saturday for another non-conference dual meet at 1 PM.
