- Hartwick saw the Fisher lead extend to 11 with 1:27 remaining in the first quarter, but battled back to get it within seven by the end of the first 10 minutes of action.
- However, St. John Fisher would take over from there, ending the first half with a 16-point lead.
- The Cardinals stayed relentless throughout the second half to claim the 77-46 win.
- Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) led Hartwick with 11 points, while Alexis Mark (Patterson, N.Y.) chipped in 10.
- Isabella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) and Meghan Perry (Otego, N.Y.) got after it on the boards for the Hawks, finishing with nine and eight rebounds respectively.
