Hartwick Completes Weekend Sweep with Win over Keuka

KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – The Hawks held the host Wolves to just four points in the third quarter enroute to a 52-37 conference win.

  • The visiting Hawks jumped out to a 4-point lead and looked to extend their lead.
  • However, every time Hartwick pulled ahead, the Wolves stayed on their heels throughout the first and second quarters.
  • Up 23-19, entering the third quarter, Hartwick found their stride in the second half.
  • The Hawks lead ballooned to 14 by the end of the third quarter as they held the Wolves to only four points.
  • Hartwick maintained their lead throughout the fourth quarter to take home the 52-37 Empire 8 road win.
  • Isabella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) completed the double-double for the Hawks, recording 12 points and 12 boards.
  • Morgan Perry (Otego, N.Y.) and Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) recorded 13 points each.

The Hawks return home for the first time in two weeks as they host Elmira and Alfred on Friday and Saturday, February 3 and 4.  Tip for Friday night against Elmira is set for 5:30 PM.
