ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Women's Swimming and Diving team fell at home on Saturday afternoon to both Springfield College and Union College in their 2023 return to competition.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Scout Easton (Evergreen, Colo.) was the first to get the Hawks on the board with a third-place finish in the 1000-yard free.
- Ellie Baird (Wilton, N.Y.) picked up points for Hartwick, finishing third in the 200-yard free and second in the 500-yard free.
- Amanda Wilbur (Watkins Glen, N.Y.) put points on the board for Hartwick in the 100-yard fly in her collegiate debut with a third-place finish.
- Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) finished third in the 100-yard breaststroke to round out the Hawks' scoring for the afternoon.

Hartwick will travel to the University of Scranton next Saturday for another non-conference dual meet at 1 PM.
