Oneonta, N.Y. – The Hartwick Men's Swim and Dive team hosted Empire 8 conference opponent Nazareth for a dual meet.

The Hawks began the day on a high note with the grouping of Owen James(St.Lutz, Fla.), Hassan Abdelwahed(New Hartford, N.Y), Boden Tito(Southington, Conn.) and Sebastian Knowles(Plano, TX) took first place in the 200 yard medley relay with a time of 1:43.01.

Cameron Drake(El Cajon, Cal.) grabbed first with a time of 10:31.68 in the 1000 yard freestyle, 15 seconds faster than second place.

Mikey Schultz(Binghamton, NY) kept Hartwick going as he grabbed first place in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 57.82.

Abdelwahed placed first in the 100 yard breaststroke with a blazing time of 59.65, continuing a string of impressive finishes.Schultz followed up with a 200 yard butterfly first place finish, coming in at 2:00.21.

Jack Armstrong(Windham, NH) scored 280.50 in one meter diving, and scored 227.65 in three meter diving.

James took the 200 yard breaststroke in a photo finish, beating his opponent by .01 seconds with a time of 2:08.95.

Abdelwahed continued his strong day with first place finishes in the 200 yard breaststroke and the 200 IM, finishing in 2:13.16 and 2:02.92 respectively.

Drake took the 500 yard freestyle as well with a time of 5:06.08, Schultz grabbed his third event with a 52.62 finish in the 100 yard butterfly as the Hawks would defeat Nazareth 194.5 - 93.5
