Hawks Split Home Tri-Meet

Oneonta, N.Y. – The Hartwick Men's Swim and Dive Team faced off in a home tri-meet against the University of Scranton and Stevens Institute of Technology.

 

 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The Hawks began the day with Jack Armstrong (Windham, NH) setting a new program record scoring 302 in one meter diving. Armstrong followed up with a 263 score in the three meter diving to earn first.

  • Peyton Humphries (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) had a good day on the diving board as well scoring 186 in one meter diving and 182 in three meter diving.

  • Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) grabbed second place in the 1000 yard freestyle at 10:15.

  • Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) took third place in the 200 yard freestyle, finishing at 1:49.

  • Hassan Abdelwahed (New Hartford, N.Y.) finished in first place in the 100 yard breaststroke with a blazing finish of 59 seconds. Abdelwahed took the 200 yard breaststroke as well, finishing at 2:15.

  • Mikey Schultz (Binghamton, N.Y.) earned three first place finishes, taking the 100 and 200 yard butterfly, clocking in at times of 51.87 and 1:57. Schultz earned his third event with the 200 yard IM at 1:58

  • Hartwick defeated Scranton 153-146 but fell to Stevens 154-134.

    UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS

    The Hawks will look forward to the three day Ithaca Bomber Invitational beginning on December 1st.
