Ithaca, N.Y. – The Hartwick Men's and Women's Swim and Dive completed the third and final day of the 12th annual Ithaca Bomber Invite.

MEN'S RECAP

The day began with the 1650 yard freestyle and the Hawks started off strong as Nick Tirrell (Turner, Me.) and Brady Haraden (Ballston Spa,NY) clocked in times of 17:28.96 and 17:34.22 to earn 11th and 12th place finishes.

Daniel Chung posted a 59.13 second finish in the 100 yard IM. Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) followed up with a 49 second finish in the 100 yard breaststroke.

Owen James (St. Lutz, Fla.) finished the 200 yard backstroke in 2:03.69, adding more points to their total.

The Men ended their day with the 400 yard freestyle relay with Mikey Schultz (Binghamton, N.Y.), Hassan Abdelwahed (New Hartford, N.Y.), Tirrell, and Rogers completing the race in 3:17.38 to earn 642 points through three days of competition.
WOMEN'S RECAP

Ellie Baird (Wilton, N.Y.) finished the 1650 yard freestyle in 18:43.59 for a 14th place finish to start the day off.

Cate Russo (San Pedro, Cal.) completed the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 56.53 seconds.

Min-Syun Chen (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) placed 13th in the 200 yard breaststroke, finishing at 2:31.60.

The grouping of Amanda Wilbur (Watkins Glen, N.Y.), Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.), Russo and Baird completed the 400 yard freestyle relay in a time of 3:51.56 to earn 324 points through three days of competition.

Hartwick will have a break in their schedule and return January 13th for a tri-meet between Springfield and Union at Springfield College.
