ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Moving a home game to an away contest due to yesterday's snow storm, the Hawks went on the road for the first time in the 2023 season and came away with a convincing 20-5 victory.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Hartwick jumped out to a 5-0 lead, posting their first goal just 35 seconds into the game thanks to Ellie Masterpole (Syracuse, N.Y.).
- By the end of the first two quarters, the Hawks had taken a 10-goal lead earning the running clock to start the 3rd quarter.
- The visitors continued to add to their lead in the third quarter, posting five goals across the 15 minutes of action as Claudia Pollaro (Queensbury, N.Y.) picked up four points on two goals and two assists.
- Despite giving up two goals in the final quarter, Hartwick posted two of their own to cement the dominant 20-5 win.
- Kristen Vaccarelli (Dix Hills, N.Y.) led the Hawks in scoring, posting seven goals and one assist on 11 shots.
- Hanna Goodreau (North Reading, Mass.) tallied three goals, while Masterpole, Pollaro, and Elle Stringer (Rensselaer, N.Y.) each added two.
- The Hawks defense held the Raptors to just seven shots on goal in front of goalkeeper, Maddi Morrison (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) who recorded two saves in the win.
