ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks scored five unanswered in the fourth to cut the Oneonta lead to five, but it was not enough, falling 21-15 in the Battle of the Hills.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Oneonta jumped on Hartwick with two goals early in the 1st at the 13:20 mark and the 11:55 mark.
- Hanna Goodreau (North Reading, Mass.) put the Hawks on the board 44 seconds later.
- Unfortunately, the Red Dragons would go on to score five straight to end the 1st.
- Hartwick opened the 2nd with a free position goal by Ellie Masterpole (Syracuse, N.Y.) to make the score 7-2.
- Hartwick went on to score two more goals in the 2nd, but Oneonta tallied four.
- The Red Dragons went on to extend their lead to 10 goals with 1:55 remaining in the 3rd quarter to earn the running clock.
- Kristen Vaccarelli (Dix Hills, N.Y.) stopped the running clock with thirty seconds remaining in the quarter with an unassisted tally.
- The Hawks carried that momentum into the 4th as Masterpole went on to score the first three of five-straight goals. Vaccarelli and Elle Stringer (Rensselaer, N.Y.) tallied the other two to cut the Red Dragons' lead to just five.
- However, Oneonta was able to close the door on the Hawks' comeback, scoring two within one minute of each other down the stretch to ultimately take the 21-15 win.
