ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Women's Tennis team shut out the visiting Oswego State Lakers on Saturday afternoon to improve to 15-2 on the season heading into their final regular season match on Tuesday.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks started strong at 2nd doubles with Colleen Marsh (Marcellus, N.Y.) and Jess Waldmann (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) defeating their Oswego counterparts 8-2.
- Maggie VanValkenburgh (Highland, N.Y.) and Cierra Barkley (Baldwin, N.Y.) put the Hawks up 2-0 with an 8-4 win at 3rd doubles.
- Ryann Ashby (Malta, N.Y.) and Phoebe Olson (Jamesville, N. Dak.) wrapped up the doubles sweep with an 8-6 win at 1st doubles.
- Jade Killikelly (Jamaica, N.Y.) was the first to take the court in the singles round, making quick work of her Laker opponent winning 6-0 and 6-1.
- Also picking up convincing wins in singles by only dropping one game between the two sets were Damita Bollers (Brooklyn, N.Y.), Lily Vanuga (Springville, N.Y.), and Waldman.
- Hartwick wrapped up the sweep with wins at 6th singles by Cathrine Holderer (Perry, N.Y.) and 1st singles by Olson.
- Waldmann and Olson were double winners on the day as the only two Hawks to play in both doubles and singles.
