RIT Tops Hawks in Hard Fought Battle

ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks continued their slate of strong non-conference opponents on Tuesday afternoon against RIT at home.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
 
  • The 3rd doubles pair of Collen Marsh (Marcellus, N.Y.) and Olivia McArthur (Whitesboro, N.Y.) picked up an 8-5 win to get the Hawks on the board headed into singles play.
  • Gianna Leggieri (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) outlasted her 5th singles opponent winning 6-4 and 6-3 to give Hartwick another win.
  • Hartwick notched their third win at 2nd singles where Jade Killikelly (Jamaica, N.Y.) pushed through a second set tie-break with final overall scores of 6-4 and 7(5)-6.
 
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
 
Hartwick hits the road for their final non-conference match of the fall with a trip to South Hadley, Massachusetts to take on Mount Holyoke College at 12 PM on Saturday.
