The Golden Flyers controlled the pace of play throughout the first half against the Hawks, getting off 12 shots compared to Hartwick's four.

Nazareth also held the advantage in corners, 5-1.

Despite five saves throughout the opening 45 minutes, the Golden Flyers were only able to put one away during the 30th minute of play to take the 1-0 lead.

The Hawks turned things around in the second half, finding the back of the net early on in the 52nd minute.

Anabel Rommer (Unadilla, N.Y.) notched the game-tying goal after Grace Byrne (Lynbrook, N.Y.) was able to spot her out and deliver the ball.

Hartwick had a handful of runs late in the second half, but were unable to convert down the stretch as the 1-1 score held at the end of 90.

Abigail McCleary (Monroe, N.Y.) and Trinity Irizarry (Greenwood Lake, N.Y.) boasted their defensive prowess all game making numerous stops and creating forward progress for the Hawk attack.

Despite conceding the first half goal, Meghan Perry continued to be solid down the stretch for the Hawks, recording nine saves overall across the contest.
