WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks led from start to finish on Friday night, including an opening 7-0 run to start the contest.
- The visiting Saxons made a run in the 2nd quarter, putting up 22 points to just 15 for the Hawks, but it wasn't enough to overcome the lead that Hartwick established in the 1st quarter.
- Hartwick continued to stay one step ahead of Alfred University, dominating down low, scoring 30 points in the paint.
- Isabella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) added to her double-double total for the season, notching 14 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. The senior was also a presence defensively, denying three shots.
- Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) also added 14 points, while Sareena DiCerbo (Schenectady, N.Y.) put away 10 including a four-for-four performance from the line.
