ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Men's Basketball Team battled back from a 15-point deficit late in the 1
st half, but could not take the lead and fell 91-82 in non-conference action against the SUNY Morrisville Mustangs.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks kept pace with the Mustangs for the majority of the first half, not allowing the visitors to build more than a five-point lead.
- However, with just over five-minutes remaining in the opening half, Morrisville gradually pulled away.
- Down 48-36 entering the second half, Hartwick came out of the break strong, chipping away at Morrisville's lead.
- The Hawks forced the Mustangs to take a time out at the 12:34 mark after Tarrell Cumberbatch (Brooklyn, N.Y.) put one away in the paint off of a pass from the low post from Henry Perkins (Albany, N.Y.).
- Out of the time out, Shea Barber (Wells Bridge, N.Y.) got the Hawks even closer, knocking down a three off of the inbound pass.
- Hartwick continued to stay within striking distance until the back quarter of the half as the Mustangs began to take advantage of the Hawks' foul trouble.
- Morrisville would finally pull away in the final minute of the contest to take the 91-82 win.
- Daniel Oyediran (Madison, N.J.) paced the offense for the Hawks, dropping 24 across 32 minutes of action.
- Three other Hawks finished in double figures, with Barber putting up 11, and Perkins and Jaden Carter (Scotch Plains, N.J.) chipping in 10 each.
