The Hawks and the Cardinals tipped off and Fisher scored the first seven before Brian Bonin (Cicero, N.Y.) got Hartwick on the board.

A pair of threes by Xymier Thomas (Binghamton, N.Y.) and Shea Barber (Wells Bridge, N.Y.) put the team up six, their biggest lead of the half.

Hartwick began to trail after the opposition went on a scoring run but they stayed in the fight, responding with momentum-breaking baskets to stay with eleven as the first half ended.

Henry Perkins (Albany, N.Y.) led the scoring for the team at half with nine, Barber followed with seven.

The Hawks continued to trail in the second half and ran out of time, Daniel Oyediran (Madison, N.J.) finished as Hartwick's leading scorer with 19 points, Perkins notched 13 points and eight rebounds and Bonin registered a double double with eleven points and ten rebounds.
