The Hawks looked to pick up their fourth consecutive conference victory, after defeating the Keuka College Wolves 3-1 last night at home.

Braelyn Hornick (Candor, N.Y.) got the Royal Blue and White started on a high note, helping the Hawks fire off four straight points.

Elmira got on the scoreboard, earning their first kill but were quickly met with another four point spurt from Hartwick.

After a bad set from the Hawks, Staecia Silofau (Kapolei, HI) swung the momentum right back to the Hawks, rising up and sending a missile that proved too much to handle for her first kill of the day after a brilliant set from Hornick.

The trend of Elmira stopping a Hawk run, just for Hartwick to answer back with another spread of points continued throughout as the first set went in favor of Coach Donovan's squad by a score of 25-8.

Elmira displayed a bit more resistance in the second set, grabbing their first lead of the match with a three point run after Hartwick opened with two points.

The teams exchanged points back and forth until they were knotted at ten when Elmira regained their lead by a score of 11-10.

Aaliyah Williams (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) hammered down a kill from an assist from Hornick to jumpstart the potent Hawk attack as they collected five straight points.

The Soaring Eagles tried their best to keep up with the Hawks, keeping the deficit at four but once again the Hawk attack was too much to handle as a Hawk run swelled the lead to nine.

Silofau capped off the second set with another kill as the Hawks took the set 25-16.

Hartwick was dominant in the third and final set, not letting the Soaring Eagles hang around as they posted 12 kills with no attacking errors as the squad really began to click.

Shelby Swartz (Candor, N.Y.) made her presence felt in the third set, firing off four kills and three aces as the Hawks picked up another conference sweep, ending the third set 25-10 as they move into their two final regular season home games next week.

Swartz led the attack with nine kills as Silofau followed closely with eight, Hornick was all over the court, leading with 30 assists and eight digs as well as tying Swartz with four service aces.

Ellie Kalbach (Spring City, Pa.) was a spark plug off the bench, collecting three service aces, contributing to the offensive success.
