ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Hartwick Men's Swim and Dive improved upon their undefeated record, picking up home victories over SUNY Brockport and SUNY Oneonta.

Peyton Humphries (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) got the morning started for the Hawks as the lone diver for the men, scoring 191.45 in one meter diving and ending with a score of 170.15 in three meter diving.

The Men started their afternoon with a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay as Sebastian Gomez (Mineola, N.Y.), Daniel Chung (Roslyn, N.Y.), Owen James (St. Lutz, Fla.) and Sebastian Knowles (Plano, Tex.) combined for a time of one minute and 42 seconds.

Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) earned the first event for the Hawks, dominating the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of ten minutes and 28 seconds, finishing 28 seconds before the next swimmer.

Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) would win the following event, completing the 200 yard freestyle with a finishing mark of one minute and 49 seconds.

Hassan Abdelwahed (New Hartford, N.Y.) picked up his first event of the day as the Hawks began to catch fire, Abdelwahed blazed through the 100 yard breaststroke in just 58 seconds.

Knowles edged out his opposition by .41 seconds to pick up the victory in the 50 yard freestyle.

The 100 yard freestyle event followed and it was even tighter than the 50 yard freestyle as Abdelwahed was able to beat out his competition by .5 seconds to earn the victory.

Evan Nezat (Jacksonville, N.C.) swung the momentum back to the Hawks with a win in the 200 yard breast, clocking in at two minutes and 17 seconds.

Rogers continued his stellar day with a 100 yard butterfly victory, touching the wall 53.05 seconds.

Hartwick capped off their dominant day with a victory in the 400 yard free relay with Rogers, Nezat, Gomez, and Abdelwahed combining for a three minute and twenty second finish. The Hawks defeated new Empire 8 foe SUNY Brockport 185-95 and defeated cross-town foe SUNY Oneonta 178-102.

UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
The Hawks will stay home to host Stevens and University of Scranton in a Tri-Meet on Saturday, November 16th. Diving events will take place at 9AM, followed by swimming events at 1PM.
