ONEONTA, N.Y. - The Hartwick Men's Swim and Dive program were handed their first losses of the season, falling to the University of Scranton and Stevens Institute of Technology.

Peyton Humphries (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) got the morning started for the Hawks with a first place finish in one meter diving, scoring 213. Humphries kept it rolling, taking first place in three meter diving as well with a score of 218.80.

Cameron Drake (El Cajon, Cal.) placed second for the Hawks in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of ten minutes and fourteen seconds.

Bryce Rogers (Fulton, N.Y.) earned third place in a tightly contested 200 yard free, finishing in one minute and 50 seconds, .49 seconds behind Stevens.

Hassan Abdelwahed (New Hartford, N.Y.) picked up the first event of the day for the Hawks, blistering through the 100 yard breaststroke in just 59 seconds.

Rogers placed third in the 100 yard freestyle, touching the wall in 50.73 seconds.

Abdelwahed posted a first place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke, completing his race in two minutes and fourteen seconds for a season best.

Hartwick capped off their day, finishing second in the 400 yard free relay with Rogers, Abdelwahed, Drake, and Evan Nezat (Jacksonville, N.C.) combining for a three minute and twenty second finish.

The Hawks were defeated by Scranton 102-189 and fell to Stevens 193-87, bringing their streak of six meet victories to an end.
