- The Hawks extended their lead over Oneonta to eight points with just under five minutes remaining in the quarter.
- A late 1st quarter push by the Red Dragons would eventually push them past the Hawks for the 18-13 lead.
- SUNY Oneonta began to pull away throughout the 2nd quarter thanks to a 37.5% shooting performance from behind the arc.
- Down by 15 heading into the 3rd quarter, the Hawks tried to chip away at the Red Dragons' lead.
- Oneonta would remain in control, however, staying just one step ahead of the Hawks.
- The Red Dragons continued to build on their lead throughout the 4th quarter to take the win, 68-42.
- Macy Durkin (Syracuse, N.Y.) led the Hawks in scoring with 10 points.
