ALFRED, N.Y. – The Hawks saw their win streak snapped in a back-and-forth affair against the Alfred University Saxons on Saturday afternoon.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Hawks took control of the contest early, ending the 1st quarter with a four-point advantage over the Saxons.
- Alfred turned the momentum in their favor halfway through the 2nd quarter, eventually taking the lead by one off of a three-pointer at the five-minute mark.
- The Saxons would hold on to that one-point lead to take a 23-22 lead into halftime.
- Out of the break, Isabella Astorino (Warwick, N.Y.) took the lead back for the Hawks with layup down low.
- Hartwick held the lead through the remainder of the 3rd quarter.
- Unfortunately, Alfred put together a late run in the 4th quarter to snap Hartwick's win streak, claiming the 54-45 win.
- Astorino collected 18 points in the contest, while Bree Fargnoli (Binghamton, N.Y.) tacked on 13.
