WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

After six minutes of both teams exchanging possession, the opposition was able to score their first two goals.

The Hawks ended the first quarter trailing by seven.

Kristen Vaccarelli (Dix Hills, N.Y.) ended the Cardinals' streak with a free position goal at the thirteen minute mark.

The opposition scored four goals throughout the remainder of the quarter to close out the first half.

With the second half underway, St. John Fisher strung together four goals to extend their lead.

Vaccarelli found the back of the net once more in a man-up situation with two seconds remaining in the third.

In the fourth quarter, the deficit was extended by three to close out the game.

Hartwick will take the short trip to SUNY Oneonta to face off against the Red Dragons in their annual "Battle of the Hills" on Tuesday, April 2nd at 4 PM .
