- Hartwick fell behind early, with the Wolves picking up the first tally of the game just 43 seconds into the 1st quarter.
- Luke Ward (Attleboro, Mass.) did not let Keuka's lead last long, notching the equalizer just over two minutes later.
- After Tyler Nocito (Mahopac, N.Y.) picked up the go-ahead-goal at the 10:35 mark in the 1st, it was all Hawks from that moment forward.
- Keuka found ways to stay within striking distance for the remainder of the 1st and two thirds of the way into the 2nd quarter.
- However, Ward's third goal of the game with 4:05 remaining in the 2nd starting a string of 13-straight goals for the Hawks.
- By the time the Hawks hit the 6:20 mark in the 4th quarter, they had amassed a 22-4 lead.
- Despite surrendering the final three goals of the contest, the Hawks wrapped up their regular season slate with a 22-7 Empire 8 win.
- Ward paced the offensive onslaught, adding four assists to his hat trick performance.
- Garrett Frost (Wading River, N.Y.) and Colin August (Garrison, N.Y.) each recorded six points in the contest, with Frost tallying four goals and two assists, and August picking up five goals and one assist.
- Shayne Kerrigan (Foxborough, Mass.) also contributed a hatty and assist to the team's offensive effort.
- Ryan Nevins (Warwick, N.Y.) and Christian Szokoli (Greenlawn, N.Y.) picked up two goals each, while Colby Simonetti (Pittsford, N.Y.), Jakob Day (Palmyra, N.Y.), and Nocito finished with one goal apiece.
- Kaiden Johnson (Wakefield, Mass.) collected the win, recording 10 saves across just over 34 minutes of play.
- The combo of Chris Andersen (Schnecksville, Pa.) and Kyle MacLeod (Walpole, Mass.) closed out the game between the pipes for the Hawks.

The Hawks, who earned a berth into the Empire 8 tournament on Wednesday, will now turn their attention to the conference semifinal round. As the #4 seed, Hartwick will travel to St. John Fisher to take on the Cardinals on Wednesday, May 1. Game time will be announced when it is available.
