Sixty local businesses and community members served as sponsors for the event, contributing anywhere from $50 for a cart sponsorship to $4,000 as the lead sponsor. The 104 golfers were treated to lunch, free beverages on the course, as well as a Brook's BBQ dinner throughout their time at the club. In addition, golfers were able to place bids on silent auction items throughout the day and take part in several competition holes. The most popular competition by far was the 10

"The Classic
Nick Lambros Golf Tournament was an outstanding day on every measure! We had a great field of golfers – including many passionate alumni – a beautiful day and wonderful accommodations by Oneonta Country Club," remarked Vecchio. "I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it and I look forward to future events where we can celebrate and enhance contributions for Hartwick Athletics."
All-in-all, the event raised over $25,000 for the 'Wick Athletic Fund which helps to provide additional resources to all of our athletic programs to enhance the student-athlete experience at Hartwick.
