ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hawks weathered several storms throughout the first half against the Red Dragons. However, a three-goal 3
rd quarter by Cortland took down Hartwick in their home opener.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The 15th ranked Red Dragons put an early goal on the board just over five minutes into the contest.
- The Hawks' defense would bend but not break throughout the remainder of the first half despite Cortland getting off eight shots throughout the 2nd quarter.
- Unfortunately for Hartwick, the visiting Red Dragons exploded for a three-goal third quarter to jump out to a 4-0 lead.
- The Hawks conceded a fifth goal in the waning minutes of the contest as Cortland went on to win the non-conference matchup 5-0.
