ALFRED, N.Y. - The Hartwick Women's Swim and Dive Team traveled to Alfred for their final Empire 8 conference dual meet, coming away with an impressive triumph to complete a flawless conference regular season.

The Hawks started their afternoon with a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay. Kate Gucciardi (Cicero, N.Y.), Min-Syun Chen (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.), Amanda Wilbur (Watkins Glen, N.Y.) and Savannah Evans (Livermore, Calif.) combined for a time of one minute and 58 seconds.

Katherine Viera (South Windsor, Conn.) earned the first event for the Hawks, taking first place in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11 minutes and 40 seconds.

Courtney Pierce (Fulton, N.Y.) began her day with a first place finish in the 200 yard freestyle, clocking in at two minutes and five seconds.

Pierce took the 100 yard breaststroke as well, touching the wall in one minute and ten seconds to keep the Hawks rolling.

The 200 yard butterfly would go in favor of Hartwick as Danielle DeCarlo (Whitesboro, N.Y.) took first place with a finishing mark of two minutes and 24 seconds.

Annabelle Lindsay (Hudson Falls, N.Y.) had a great day on the board, scoring 184.45 to take first place in one meter diving.

Pierce capped off her dominant day with a first place finish in the 200 yard breaststroke, timing in at two minutes and 33 seconds.

Cate Russo (San Pedro, Cal.) kept the Hawks in front, taking first place in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of five minutes and 44 seconds.

Jillian Ferrie (Middle Grove, N.Y.) earned a first place finish in the 200 IM to cap off the final individual event of the day, timing in at two minutes and twenty seconds.

The Women capped off their stellar day with a first place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay, Aubrey Vaile (Wesley Chapel, Fla.), Anna Bischoff (Oneonta, N.Y.), Russo and Ferrie combining for a time of one minute and 46 seconds.

Hartwick defeated Alfred 180-107 as the Women completed their first flawless Empire 8 conference regular season.

UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
The Hawks will head back to Moyer Pool for their final home tri-meet with St. Lawrence and Alfred State on Saturday, January 25th, beginning at 9AM.
