-
Alexandra Krasinska (Pine Island, N.Y.) and Phoebe Olson (Jamestown, N.Dak.) took the courts at the No.1 spot for the first time since being named the inaugural Empire 8 Doubles Team of the Year. Krasinska & Olson faced a tall task in Misericordia's Hailey Loughlin and Lydia Barbour, coming in with a 4-1 record.
-
Ryann Ashby (Malta, N.Y.) and Gianna Leggieri (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) fell at the No.2 doubles spot, taking two games before being edged out.

-
Krasinska and Olson battled Loughlin and Barbour but were eventually bested by a score of 6-4, seeing their nine match win streak at No.1Â doubles come to an end as the Cougars earned the doubles point.

Vanuga was resilient at the three spot as Misericordia's Erin Cridge jumped out to a 6-0 victory in the first set. Lily was not deterred as she stormed back with a 6-2 win to force a third set, Vanuga came up just short as Cridge took the final set 10-4.
