WILLIAMSTOWN, MA. - The Hartwick Outdoor Track and Field program wrapped up their regular season, bringing a select group in hopes of clinching a couple more regional qualifiers in the Farley Inter Regional, hosted by Williams College.

First year standout Cody Bazemore (Bel Air, Md.) opened up the Farley Inter Regional with a strong showing in the 100 meter dash event, matching his season PR. Bazemore crossed the finish line with a time of 11.11 seconds, earning 20th place.

Marquis Jones-McKinney (Astoria, N.Y) continues to turn in solid outings time and time again, finishing just 1 centimeter short of his season best in the high jump event. Jones-McKinney posted a final marking of 6 feet and one and half inches, taking 7th in a loaded flight with national powerhouse MIT taking first place.

The grouping of Josh Worrell (White Plains, N.Y.), Patrick Conteh (Salisbury, Md.), Corey Quomony (Aberdeen, Md.), and Cody Bazemore looked to make some noise in a talented 4x100 heat, matching up with squads like Middlebury, Cortland and Amherst.Â

The Hawks just missed their season best mark, posted last week at the Empire 8 Championships, coming in 44.36 seconds to take 6th place as the NESCAC (New England Small College Athletic Conference) giants, Middlebury took first place.

The Hawks will prepare to send a select few to the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Regional Outdoor Championships on May 14th and 15th, hosted by Williams College.
