ONEONTA, N.Y. - Cody Bazemore earned 2026 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Men's Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honors, recognizing another standout season for the Hartwick sophomore.
The top-eight individuals in each event from every region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, along with members of the region's top-eight relay teams. The regions used for the award – Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South, and West – mirror those used during the cross country season.
The Bel Air native capped off an impressive sophomore campaign with his first pair of outdoor All-Region honors after already securing two indoor All-Region selections earlier this year. Bazemore earned recognition in both the 60 meter and 200-meter dash events.
During the outdoor season, Bazemore picked up All-Region honors in the 100 meters after posting the fifth-fastest time in the Niagara Region. He clocked a blazing 10.73 at the Cortland Classic on April 17, winning the preliminary round and cementing his place among the region's elite sprinters.
He also secured All-Region recognition in the long jump with a leap of 7.06 meters (23 feet, 2 inches) at the Utica Pioneer Spring Invite on April 3. The mark won the event by more than two feet and highlighted Bazemore's consistency as one of the top jumpers in the region throughout the outdoor season.
A dynamic threat in both sprint and field events, Bazemore continues to build an impressive resume for the Blue and White heading into his junior campaign.
