ONEONTA, N.Y. - Today the Empire 8 announced the 2025 Men's Outdoor Track and Field All-Conference selections, with first year Cody Bazemore (Bel Air, Md.) securing Third Team honors in the long jump event for the Hartwick Hawks.
 

The All-Conference selections were determined based on performance at the May 2nd-3rd championship meet hosted by SUNY Brockport. In his championship debut, Bazemore made waves with a long jump of 6.71 meters and earned a third place spot on the podium.
 

During his indoor season, Bazemore would shatter two school records in sprinting events, setting a new record of 7.14 seconds for the men's 60m and a new record of 23.18 in the men's 200m.
 

In addition to his Third Team All-Conference honors for the outdoor season, Bazemore was also named Hartwick's representative for the Empire 8 Sportsman of the Year Team for consistently exhibiting the traits of an outstanding sportsman.
