2018: Earned USILA Scholar All-America honors ... IMLCA East Region Second Team pick ... named to Empire 8 Conference First Team … selected to the Empire 8 All-Tournament Team after causing a game- and career-high eight turnovers to go along with six ground balls in the league semifinals … named the Hartwick Roy Chipman Memorial Award for Male Athlete of the Year … named Team MVP … named Hartwick “Hawk of the Week” on 5/7 and 5/13 … tied for the Empire 8 lead and ranks eleventh nationally in caused turnovers per game (2.79) … led the Hawks in ground balls (88) and ranks fourth in the league in ground balls per game (6.29) … contributed offensively scoring three goals and assisting on three others … registered seven ground balls or more seven times, including a season-high 10 in wins against Farmingdale (3/10) and Utica (4/18) … scored goals against Oswego (3/3), Elmira (4/21), and Hamilton (4/24) … registered nine ground balls versus the Lakers … eight ground balls versus Potsdam (3/17) and Oneonta (3/28) … picked up seven against Stevens (4/14), Hamilton, and Nazareth (4/28) … six against both Clarkson and Stevens (5/2) … caused three turnovers over more seven times … caused six against Hamilton … four versus Potsdam, Oneonta and Alfred (3/31).

Beal Banks Award winner ... selected as the team MVP ... tapped a Hartwick "Hawk of the Week" on 4/3 ... started in all 11 games he played in … scored three goals and added two assists … led the conference with 36 caused turnovers … ranked second in the league in ground balls (93) … won four face-offs … recorded double-digit ground balls in four different games … season-high 14 ground balls in one-goal victories over MIT (3/5) and SUNY Oneonta (3/29) … added 10 each in games against Farmingdale (3/10) and Elmira (4/8) … had nine GB’s versus Alfred (4/1) and Nazareth (4/15) caused at least one turnover in every game … caused four or more five times … earned a season-high six caused turnovers in win over Oneonta … caused five each in games against St. John Fisher (3/25) and Nazareth … registered four against Farmingdale State (3/10) and Elmira (4/8).

Prior to Hartwick: Transfer from Division I Binghamton University … played in 12 games for the Bearcats in 2016 with a goal, assist, 27 ground balls, and four caused turnovers … competed in lacrosse, football, basketball, and track for the Panthers … helped football team to Long Island Championships in 2012 and 2013.

Personal: Son of Timothy and Ginny Schweitzer … Environmental Science major … brother, Bryan, played football for the Hawks from 2010-13 … brother, Stephen, currently plays football for ’Wick.
