Hartwick College Athletics

2012-13: Won seven events and added eight second-place and one third-place finish … tied for team lead with Brad Ranson in relay wins (20) … set school, championship, and association record in 100 free (44.79) at the Empire 8/UNYSCSA Championships …Empire 8 First Team in 100 free and Second Team in 50 free … was a part of the 200 medley relay team that placed fourth in 1:33.42 to set a new school record … participated in the 50 free and 100 free individual events at the NCAA Div. III Championships along with the 200 medley, 200 free, and 400 free relays ... fourth on the team in points with 477.5 ... 129 points at the UNYSCSA / Empire 8 Championships ranked third on the squad.

2011-12: Won 13 individual races during the season … had three second and third-place finishes … was a member of 15 winning relays and four that came in second place … fifth on the team with 524.25 points ... won dual titles at the Empire 8/UNYSCSA Championships in the 50 free, 100 free, and 400 free relay … Empire 8 Second Team in 400 medley relay  … placed thirty-sixth in the 50 free (21.18) and forty-sixth in the 100 free (46.61) at the NCAA Division III Championships … was a member of the 200 free relay team that achieved honorable mention All-America honors with a fourteenth place finish (1:23.88).

2010-11: Won two races on the season ... had five second-place finishes, six third-place finishes, two fourth-place finishes and three fifth-place finishes ... was a part of 11 winning relay teams, eight teams in second place and one in third place ... at the Empire 8/UNYSCSA Championships, won a state crown in the 100 free and made first team all Empire 8 and broke Hartwick record in prelims with a time of 45.83 and bettered his time in the finals with a time of 45.67 ... was a part of the 400 free relay team that a new record (3:02.27) ... set a personal best in the 50 free with a time of 21.37 which is the 4th fastest time at Hartwick.

2009-10: Won four events ... placed second in 14, third in five, fourth in four, and fifth in three ... was a part of eight winning relay teams, five that came in second place, and three that came in third place.

Personal: Born October 7, 1990 ... son of Jodi and Bryan Schultz ... geology major.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Bishop England High School ... lettered in track & field and swimming for the Battling Bishops ... competed at state meet from 8th grade through senior year ... holds school records in 100 free, 200 free relay and 400 free relay.
