Wilder Jr. Award for academic distinction … played in all 15 games … started two contests … scored eight goals … earned seven assists … recorded 20 shots on the year … shot percentage was .400 … had nine ground balls … caused one turnover … recorded season-highs of five goals and seven points in Hawks’ 19-7 win over Sage (19-7) … had two goals and an assist in 23-4 win over Elmira (3/27) … totaled one goal and one assist in 17-8 victory against Potsdam (3/16) … dished out two helpers in 13-3 win against Houghton (3/23) … season-high three ground balls versus Sage … added two in games against Elmira, Stevens (4/27), and St. John Fisher (5/1).

2018: Named to Empire 8 Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 President’s Lists … received a Phillip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for academic distinction … started all 14 games for ’Wick … 14 goals ranked four on the team … added three assists … 17 points tied for fifth on the squad … registered 43 shots … 29 shots were on cage … scored one man-up goal … 16 ground balls on the season … caused one turnover … had two goals and two assists in 19-3 win over Utica (4/18) … also scored a pair of goals in wins over Oneonta (3/28) and Houghton (4/7) and against Stevens in the Empire 8 semifinal (5/2) … also tallied single goals in six other games … recorded three ground balls in three straight wins over Farmingdale (3/10), Potsdam (3/17), and St. John Fisher (3/24).

2017: Played in all 15 games … started 14 of those contests … 11 goals ranked fifth on the team … added five assists … netted two game-winners … grabbed 16 ground balls … caused a pair of turnovers … scored three goals in collegiate debut in 6-5 victory over Oswego (3/1) … had two goals and an assist in 11-10 win over MIT … also scored twice in 14-4 win over Houghton (4/22) … netted the game-winner in overtime in 12-11 conference victory over St. John Fisher (3/25) … scored a goal and contributed an assist in 10-8 E8 win over Alfred (4/1) … added goals in games against Hamilton (4/18) and Utica (4/26) … recorded season-high three ground balls versus Farmingdale State (3/10) and Stevens (4/12).

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Blair Academy … played three years of lacrosse for the Buccaneers … also played a year of soccer and a year of basketball … MAPL All-Academic Team … helped basketball team to MAPL title.

Personal: Son of William and Susan Long … English major at ’Wick … brother, Conner, also plays lax for the Hawks.
