2013: Played in every game for the Hawks … selected to Capital One Academic All-America Second Team … Empire 8 Honorable Mention … 47 tackles (32 solo, 15 assisted) which was third on the team … 7.5 tackles for loss … 6.5 sacks was second on the team and tied for third in the E8 … four forced fumbles led Hawks and Empire 8 and ranked ninth in the nation … one fumble recovery … one quarterback hurry … named to D3football Team of the Week for 10/8 after four-tackle, two-sack, two-forced fumble performance against Ithaca … six tackles, two sacks, and one forced fumble against Becker (9/21) … ranks eighth in career sacks (13), 10^th in tackles for losses (23.5), and tied for fifth in forced fumbles (5).

2012: Named to 2012 Capital One Academic All-District Football Team ... played in all nine games for the Hawks ... team’s second leading tackler with 47 ... led ’Wick in tackles for loss (12.5) ... second in sacks (4.5) ... two quarterback hurries ... one forced fumble ... one pass defended on the year ... 12.5 tackles for loss ranked third in Empire 8 Conference and 65^th in all of Division III football.

2011: Played in all 10 games ... recorded a total of 28 tackles ... made 3 1/2 tackles for a loss of 18 yards ... had two sacks for a loss of 15 yards ... made one pass breakup and two quarterback hurries.

2010: Saw action in three games ... recorded one tackle against Mount Ida (11/13).

Personal: Born May 31, 1992 ... son of Joe Sr. ... computer science and math major.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Broadalbin-Perth High School ... lettered in football in 2008 and 2009 ... senior captain and second-team all-star.
