2019: Played in 11 contests … recorded 10 goals … assisted on five other Hartwick tallies … registered 29 shots on the season … 34 ground balls ranked fourth on the team … added 10 caused turnovers which was tied for fourth on the squad … scored goals in eight of 11 games … registered two goals and a pair of assists in Hawks’ 17-8 win over Potsdam (3/16) … tallied a pair of goals in 10-9 triple-overtime thriller over Farmingdale State (3/9) … registered a goal and an assist in wins over Elmira (3/27) and Sage (4/10) … single tallies in wins over Oneonta (3/12), Houghton (3/23), Nazareth (3/30), Emmanuel (4/6) … had three or more ground balls in six contests … season-high six ground balls against Houghton and Utica (4/17) … five GBs versus Elmira … four GBs in back to back wins over Farmingdale and Oneonta … season-best three caused turnovers versus Utica … two each against Houghton and Elmira.

2018: Started in all 14 games … scored one goal … assisted on five other Hartwick goals … fired six shots on the year … 34 ground balls ranked third on the team … added six caused turnovers … scored lone goal in 8-7 victory over Clarkson (4/4) … registered two assists in Empire 8 wins over Utica (4/18) and Elmira (4/21) … registered season-highs of eight ground balls and four caused turnovers in Empire 8 semifinal at Stevens (5/2) … added four ground balls in wins against SUNY Oneonta (3/28) and Utica … three GBs versus Potsdam (3/17), Clarkson, and Elmira.

2017: Played in all 15 games … scored five goals … dished out five assists … had one game-winning goal … recorded 12 ground balls on the year … scored a season-best two goals, including the game-winner in 10-8 conference victory over Alfred … recorded a goal and an assist in 14-4 conference victory over Houghton … also scored in 12-11 win against St. John Fisher (3/25) and game against Hamilton (4/18) … registered season-high two ground balls in five different contests.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Seaford High School … played four years of lacrosse and four years of football for the Vikings … earned all-conference honors in 2016.

Personal: Son of Lori and Pete Couvaris … enjoys boating and swimming … favorite sports teams are the New York Mets and New York Giants … father, Pete, played football at CW Post.
