Scott Zobre begins his first season as an assistant coach with Hartwick's men's soccer program.

A native from Poughkeepsie, NY, Zobre played four seasons of Division I soccer for Binghamton University from 2007-2010. Over his four-year career, Zobre helped the Bearcats to a record of 41-28-8, an America East Conference regular season championship (2007), and two conference tournament runner-up finishes (2007, 2008).

Zobre made 68 appearances with 27 starts for BU. He scored seven goals and added four assists for 18 points. Five of his seven tallies were game-winning goals.

A five-time BU Dean's List student-athlete, Zobre earned America East academic honors in each of his four years of competition. He was named to the AE Commissioners Honor Roll in 2007 and the Academic Honor Roll the following year. He earned a spot on the America East All-Academic Team in both his junior and senior season.

Zobre earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics from Binghamton University this past May. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in teaching mathematics adolescence education (grades 7-12) at his alma mater.
