O’Brien made 22 saves in in goal in two wins for Hartwick men’s lax this past week. He made nine saves while allowing only five goals in a 6-5 win over Oswego in the team’s season opener on Wednesday. He then made 13 stops in an 11-10 victory at MIT, making seven saves in the second quarter alone. For the week, O’Brien registered a goals against average of 7.50. He also contributed four ground balls and a caused turnover.
