ONEONTA, NY – The Hartwick football team heads on the road to face Morrisville State in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Morrisville State Stadium at Drake Field.

The Hawks will be looking to improve their record to 2-0 after defeating Husson University at Wright Stadium last week 33-7. Hartwick piled up 403 yards of offense and quarterback John Garcia (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) had an impressive debut in his first game as a starter as he passed for 290 yards and five touchdowns. The defense totaled five sacks, two forced fumbles, and one interception.

The Mustangs are coming off a 41-26 defeat at the hands of Wilkes University. 'Wick won a 36-7 decision over Morrisville State last season at Wright Stadium.
