OSWEGO, NY – Hartwick volleyball fell in a pair of matches on Friday at the Oswego Invitational. The Hawks dropped a three-set match to SUNY Canton, 21-25, 25-27, 20-25. 'Wick then lost a three-setter to Sage, 17-25, 14-25, 24-26.
On the night,
Hannah Armstrong (Lansing, NY/Lansing) and
Kayla Baril (Seekonk, MA/Seekonk) combined for 34 of the Hawks' 51 kills in the two matches. Armstrong had 19 with Baril adding 15.
Alyssa Zeitler (Chardon, OH/Berkshire) registered 25 dig defensively. Armstrong added 17.
Quincy Kinzel (Scotia, NY/Guilderland) dished out a team-high 32 assists.
Rachel Jones (West Charlton, NY/Galway) accumulated nine blocks in the two Hartwick matches.
The Hawks play tomorrow against host Oswego and D'Youville.
