CANTON, NY – The Hartwick volleyball team fell in five sets to Keuka College in the final day of the Canton Classic. In the Hawks final match of the two-day tournament, they fell by the set scores of 25-19, 16-25, 16-25, 25-20, 10-15. The loss puts Hartwick's season at 5-12 overall while the Wolves go up, 9-4.

Ashley Werner (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) was in the forefront for digs as she gathered 19 this match. Sophomore

Alyssa Zeitler (Chardon, OH/Berkshire) added nine apiece.
Senior
Hannah Armstrong (Lansing, NY/Lansing) landed 11 kills, only one shy of the match-high tally. In three matches, she has connected on 34 kills as well as contributing 27 digs. Her performance in the Classic earned her a spot on the All-Tournament Team as the only 'Wick representative.
Junior
Rosa Maun (Redstone, CO/Roaring Fork), sophomore
Rachel Jones (West Charlton, NY/Galway) and Armstrong each rejected two balls on the net.

Jamie Reidy (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) posted 22 assists while freshman
Erin Russell (Wantagh, NY/Seaford) and Jones notched 13 helpers each.
Hartwick will face local rival, Oneonta, in an evening away match, October 5
th. The first serve is slated for 5 p.m.
