ALBANY, NY – On Tuesday night, the Hartwick women's volleyball team looked to snap a two-game skid in a non-conference match against host, The Sage Colleges. At Kahl Gym, Sage grabbed the first-set win, 25-20, but Hartwick took the second, 25-23. The Gators won the next two sets, 25-18 and 25-22, to close out the match, 3-1. The Gators improve to 7-10 while the Hawks slip to 5-9 overall.
Hartwick was led by sophomore
Jamie Reidy (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) in assists for the fifth consecutive match. The setter posted 39 helpers of her team's 46, just three short of her season-best. This brings her total to 311.

Rosa Maun (Redstone, CO/Roaring Fork) landed a season-high 15 kills, while outside hitter
Hannah Armstrong (Lansing, NY/Lansing) (12) also added to the offense.

Next, Hartwick begins action at the Canton Classic. During the two-day event, the Hawks will face three opponents. SUNY Canton and St. Lawrence will battle with the Hawks on Friday, September 30
th. The Hawks will conclude play against Keuka on Saturday, October 1
st.
