Recap: Cortland won its seventh game in a row and 15th overall as the nationally sixth-ranked Red Dragons defeated Hartwick's men's soccer team 6-0 on Tuesday evening in Cortland. Jake Keller would pace Cortland with three goals on the night. He got the scoring started at the 10:21 mark pouncing on a loose ball following a corner. Keller, with a ball over the top, then set up Migell Ormsby just 1:02 later. Keller made it 3-0 at 17:16 with a header off a corner from Miguel Tunas. The Hawks had their best chance of the match four minutes later as Jimmy Noel (Cap Haitian, Haiti/Baldwin) had a good look from the right side of the box 15 yards from goal, but his effort was saved by Cortland keeper Sean Kelly. Tunas would set up Michael Miner just under 14 minutes from halftime as the Red Dragons led 4-0 at the break. Ormsby and Keller notched goals 2:27 apart in the early stages of the second half to close out the scoring. Troy Amegashie (Accra, Ghana/Tema International School) would register the other Hartwick shot in the match. Aidan Wholihan (Annapolis, MD/St. Mary's Annapolis) played all 90 minutes in the Hawks' goal. He finished the night with eight saves.

John Scott Quotes: "This game was never going to be easy. Cortland are a top 15 team and they've just clinched this year's SUNYAC regular season. With that said, we're disappointed in ourselves for how we defended. We gifted too many soft goals and never gave ourselves a chance. From the last game to this game, we didn't bring things forward as we'd hoped. As always though, we will regroup and we will talk about our approach to Saturday's game being at a higher level than tonight."

Up Next: The Hawks travel to Bryant & Stratton in Syracuse on Saturday, October 27 at 1 p.m.
