ROCHESTER, NY – Hartwick freshmen Tyler Adler (Pittsford, NY/East Rochester) and Casey Serdiouk (Margaretville, NY/Margaretville Central) were each recognized with the release of the 2018 Empire 8 Men's Tennis All-Conference Teams on Friday morning. The duo received honorable mention in doubles for their play this season. John Talbot (Middlesex, NY/Marcus Whitman) was selected to the Empire 8 Conference Sportsman of the Year Team for the second time.
           
Adler and Serdiouk went 5-3 in Empire 8 Conference competition this season playing in the third doubles flight. The pair combined for league victories over Sage (8-2), Nazareth (8-2), Elmira (8-4), Utica (8-1), and Alfred (8-4) on the season.
           
One member of each conference team was named that institution's representative on the E8 Team. Empire 8 emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. Talbot distinguished himself and consistently exhibited the critical traits as an outstanding sportsman throughout the year in his final season with the Hawks.
