On this day in 1985 the Hartwick men's soccer team defeated Boston University, 1-0, in the NCAA Quarterfinals.

Mark Mettrick (center in the picture above) headed in a direct kick from Iain Fraser (#16 above) in the 12th minute for the game's only goal, as 'Wick advanced to the semifinals for the sixth time in program history.

The Warriors dominated the shot battle all game, outshooting BU 14-2, although each keeper made just one save apiece.
