WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Cortland scored 21 points in the first quarter and did not let up.
- The Red Dragons scored in every quarter despite the Hawks defense forcing a handful of punts.
- The Hawks air attack picked up 200 total yards between Kyle Szokoli (Greenlawn, N.Y.) and Nicholas Brady (Erieville, N.Y.).
- The passing game for Hartwick would result in a touchdown in the fourth quarter as Szokoli hooked up Justin LoBasso (Honesdale, Pa.) for a nine-yard strike. Nick Andrade (Shelton, Conn.) converted on the PAT.
- Defensively, Hartwick picked up a solid game from Jake Ely (Fulton, N.Y.) who finished the day with 7 solo tackles and 1 assisted tackle. 1 solo tackle and the assisted tackle went for a combined loss of 4 yards.
